Peach Clafoutis
A delicious French dessert traditionally made with cherries takes on a new flavor in this peach clafoutis recipe.
Ingredients
- •2 eggs
- •50g sugar
- •50g all-purpose flour
- •30g unsalted butter, melted
- •250g sliced peaches in syrup
- •125 ml cold milk
- •1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, combine the eggs, salt and sugar and mix thoroughly. Add the flour and the melted, cooled butter and mix again.
- 2
Gradually add the cold milk, mixing well after each addition until the batter is smooth and runny.
- 3
Place the sliced peaches in syrup in a sieve and let the excess syrup drain off. Spread them in a silicone baking pan or a greased pan made of another material.
- 4
Give the batter a quick stir to combine the ingredients evenly, then carefully pour it over the peach pieces.
- 5
Bake the clafoutis in an oven preheated to 160°C for about 40 minutes, until lightly golden around the edges.
- 6
Once the clafoutis has cooled completely, remove it from the pan if desired. It is ready to slice and serve.
